See how our rates compare with two of our neighbouring councils and Noosa who we are often compared with.


FACT ANALYSIS:

  • The increase in the number of rateable properties in the Shire is statically negligible as a consideration in this analysis.
  • CPI total increase would have been a total of 8.3% (June 2014 to June 2019)
  • The distribution of these rate increases across the Shire varies significantly depending of your property’s General Rate Category e.g. some have had increases far greater than 28% and some less.
