How to Join or Renew a Membership

Either click on the link above or simply transfer the membership fee via direct debit (bank details below) and send us an email (info@douglasratepayuers.org.au)  with your details.  Note you can renew your membership for one, two or three year terms.

Who can Join

Membership to the DSRA is limited to 2 individuals per rate notice. In the event of two memberships, one must be a ratepayer as named on the rate notice. An individual can only hold one membership regardless of the number of properties owned.

Sitting members of Council cannot be a member of the DSRA.

Membership fee

Individual Membership

A membership fee of $10 per person is paid annually and due on the anniversary of joining.

Joint Membership – max 2 people as per the Constitution

A membership fee of $20 is paid annually and due on the anniversary of joining.

Group Membership - i.e. business, association or body corporate     

A membership fee of $50 is paid annually and due on the anniversary of joining.  Two nominated members  (each with voting rights) as per the Constitutions.

Membership renewal

You will receive an email prior to the expiry of your membership, reminding you to renew your membership with payment options included (see above on how to renew a membership).
